Privacy Policy

The protection of your personal data is very important to us. Below we inform you in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) about the collection, processing and use of your personal data in connection with the event "Escape-Dance".

1. Data Controller

The data controller within the meaning of the GDPR is: Sara de Oliveira Maciel, Ul. 56, 9006 Varna, Bulgaria. Email: macielsara@hotmail.com. A company registration in Portugal is currently in preparation.

2. Data Collected

As part of the ticket booking and participant registration, we collect the following personal data: first name, last name, email address, selected ticket category, workshop selection and payment information (selected payment method). This data is required for the fulfilment of the contract.

3. Legal Basis for Processing

The processing of your personal data is based on the following legal grounds: (a) Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR — Performance of contract: Processing is necessary for the performance of the purchase contract (ticket purchase). (b) Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR — Legitimate interest: To ensure the smooth running of the event and communication with participants.

4. Purpose of Processing

We process your data exclusively for the following purposes: processing of ticket purchases and payments, creation and sending of booking confirmations, invoices and tickets by email, communication regarding the event (e.g. programme changes, organisational information), participant management on the event day.

5. Data Sharing

Your data will generally not be shared with third parties, except where this is necessary for the fulfilment of the contract. The following services are used: Supabase (database and backend hosting, server location EU), email service for sending booking confirmations and tickets. Data is not shared for marketing purposes or with any other third parties.

6. Data Storage and Deletion

Your personal data will only be stored for as long as is necessary for the execution of the event. After the event on 23 May 2026, your data will be deleted within a reasonable period, unless statutory retention obligations (e.g. tax or commercial law requirements) prevent deletion.

7. Your Rights

Under the GDPR, you have the following rights: Right of access (Art. 15 GDPR) to the data stored about you, Right to rectification (Art. 16 GDPR) of inaccurate data, Right to erasure (Art. 17 GDPR), provided no statutory retention obligations exist, Right to restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR), Right to data portability (Art. 20 GDPR), Right to object (Art. 21 GDPR). 8. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organisational security measures to protect your data against manipulation, loss, destruction or unauthorised access. Data transmission is encrypted via HTTPS/TLS. Access to data is restricted to the Organiser.

9. Cookies

This website uses only technically necessary cookies that are essential for the operation of the website (e.g. language selection, session management). No analytics, tracking or marketing cookies are used. As only technically necessary cookies are used, no separate consent is required pursuant to Art. 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive.

10. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We reserve the right to amend this Privacy Policy as necessary to adapt it to changes in legislation or changes to the service. The current version is always available on this website. Last updated: February 2026.
